The results of the study of coepopulations of Aconitum septentrionale in different ecological and geographical conditions of growth in the Republic of Komi are presented. Analysis of the ontogenetic structure revealed normal young and ripening cenopopulations. The age spectra of coenopopulations of meadow and forest communities are left-side with domination of juvenile and middle-aged generative individuals in meadow coenopoppulations, and with domination of virginil and young generative individuals in forest coenopopulations. Both meadow and forest cenopopulations are characterized by a high degree of generatively (33,0 and 53,1 %). The density of generative individuals in the coenopopulations of both types is the same and was 2,32±0,18 in the meadow and 1,91 ± 0,11 pieces/m2 in forest communities. Basic age spectrum of A. septentrionale in the taiga zone of the Komi Republic is normal (young), completed, with two peaks of dominative virginil (33,7 %) and young generative (20,5 %) individuals. Among all coenopopulations studied dominate young normal coenopopulations (81,8 %) with the exception of the subpolar-ural ripening coenopopulations. Index of recovery and substitution is more than 1 (Ir=1,49; Is=1,43), indicating in favor of stability of cenopopulations. Index of recovery in forest communities is higher than in meadow communities, indicating a higher stability of forest populations. In general, the status of cenopopulations of A. septentrionale in various parts of the Republic of Komi is defined as stable. Thay are capable for self-maintenance. The data obtained allow to consider A. septentrionale as prospective resource species of plant in the territory of republic of Komi.
