In the article are considered the role and huge contribution of the small business to the country's economy, the legal and regulatory framework and infrastructure of support of the small business in Tuva, consulting, financial and property forms of the small business support, tax benefits for the small businesses, the status, existing problems and prospective ways of the small business development in Tuva, stimulating entrepreneurial activity, ways to reduce the supervisory burden on small businesses and increase of the number of people employed in entrepreneurship.
