State and development of the competitive environment in the market of tourism services of Altai krai

The article presents monitoring data on the development of the tourism industry in the Altai Territory, assesses the attractiveness of the region for the development of domestic tourism. Data on the number and structure of organizations and individual entrepreneurs engaged in this business area are indicated, data on placements are given. Work on the development of infrastructure and an increase in investment in the industry was noted, the role of the government of the region in the presentation of tourism potential was noted. The results of a survey of the business community and the population on the existing competition in the industry, satisfaction of the population with the quality of services provided and the number of organizations providing them are presented, their increase is noted.
