State and trends of the development of the tourism sector in modern conditions

In modern conditions of a difficult geopolitical situation, outbound tourism is associated with great risks, and therefore most Russian tourists are forced to change their preferences in the direction of domestic tourism. The article presents statistical data on the state of development of the tourism industry in 2020-2022, in particular, according to the rating of preferences by Russian travelers of outbound and domestic tourism destinations, tour operators specializing in specific destinations are noted, the main trends and trends of the tourism sector are formulated.
