The state of erythroid part of blood system at experimental hypothyreosis

The disturbances in erythrocytopoiesis and peripheral blood of white rats under the conditions of experimental hypothyreos have been studied. It is defined, that hypothyreosis, caused by mercazolil, reduces osmotic resistency and accelerates destruction of blood erythrocytes. It causes compensating activation of erythrocytopoiesis with the subsequent exhaustion of erythroid shoot.
