The state of corruption criminality in the sphere of education in the Volgograd region, its forecasting and the main areas of prevention

The analysis of the current legislation has showed that the existing Russian regulations cover quite fully the possible options of corruptive behaviour and stipulate severe penalties for such crimes. However, there is unequal implementation efficiency of the aforesaid measures in different areas. The paper presents the results of the study focused on the anti-corruption policy in the field of education. The author considers that it is possible to develop an effective program for the prevention of corruption-related crimes in the sphere of education on the basis of the available reliable statistics on crimes committed and reasonable forecast data.
