He state of cultural education in Chuvashia

The article presents an analysis of the existing situation in a cultural education of the Chuvash Republic. The authors examine the history of its formation and development. Constructive role of Ph.D. (Philology), Associate Professor G.L. Nikonova in the formation of the phenomenon of cultural education and the development of culture of the Republic as a whole is noted. Regional specificity of cultural studies as a science and academic discipline is explained. Detailed analysis of existing threats to cultural education in the region is done at different levels - at the basic level and secondary (complete) General education level, on the level of the University system, at the level of the industry culture. Private solutions to existing problems are proposed, while eliminating all threats as seen by the authors of the article at the present stage is impossible. The situation in the region appears to be symptomatic of cultural education in Russia, that is system problem that needs to be solved collectively at all levels.
