Lactation status in nursing mothers suffering from varying degrees of anemia

241 nursing mothers suffering from various degrees of anemia were monitored. The control group consisted of 30 healthy lactating women. The state of lactation in nursing mothers suffering from anemia of varying severity was studied. It has been shown that in women with varying severity of anemia, a steady decrease in the daily volume of lactation is revealed, depending on the severity of anemia. Milk release voltage (ml/ml) and the number of applications of children to the breast, reduced volume of sucked milk at one feeding (control weighing) Statistical differences were found only in cases of grade II and III anemia.
