State of drug use situation and the main directions of counteraction to illegal drugs and psychotropic substances trafficking: on the results of the XVI International scientific and practical conference

The article is written following the results of the XVI International Scientific and Practical Conference «Actual problems of drug prevention and counteraction to offenses in the sphere of legal and illegal drug trafficking» held on April 18-19, 2013 at Siberian Law Institute of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia. Criminological characteristic of drug related crime state and its short-term forecast in the Siberian Federal District are considered in the article. The basic content of the scientific forum recommendations is presented.
