The state of offenses involving corruption on transport facilities

Offenses involving corruption are recognized as one of the main transnational threats to economic security and they have a very high degree of social danger, therefore it is recognized countering as one of the issues that requires the consolidation of the efforts of all states, society and citizens. Criminological analysis of offenses involving corruption, committed on transport facilities, allowed to determine not only their wave in the period from 2012 to 2017, but also to conduct a comparative study with offenses involving corruption, committed on the territory of the Russian Federation broadly. Special attention was paid to the comparative description of the wave of relative share of offenses involving corruption in the structure of all recorded crimes in Russia and relative share of offenses involving corruption, committed on transport facilities, in the recorded criminal- ity, committed on transport facilities, as well as the structure involving corruption on transport facilities. It was found that in 2017 as it has in previous years, the offenses as bribery (Article 291 of the Russian Criminal Code), official forgery (Article 292 of the Russian Criminal Code) prevailed. The article presents the results of the study of the geography of corruption criminality. Since both for science and practice the identity of those who commit offenses is essential; the article focuses the generalized results of the study of persons who commit offenses involving corruption on transport facilities. The results of conducted study of offenses involving corruption on transport facilities will allow timely to detect criminal threats and to identify priority areas of prevention activities.
