Criminality situation in the Volgograd region as a criterion of prognostication in the region

The immensity of the crime control problem, the dynamism of the situation, the variety of processes and phenomena associated with the reproduction of crime and its manifestations in social life necessitate the anticipatory analysis of the criminality situation. The article presents the research results observing quantitative and qualitative indicators of the criminality situation in the Southern Federal District and the Volgograd region. The author describes the objective and subjective reasons that led to the formation of positive dynamics of the crime control in the region.
