State of production and ways of increasing of economic efficiency of oil flax production in the south of Russia

May's decrees of the President of the Russian Federation set a task to increase multiple export of vegetable oils from the existing 3.1 billion rubles (level of 2017). So possible ways to rev up production are discussed at all administrative levels: to change structure of sowing areas, rise up yields, use progressive scientific and innovative developments. One of the perspective solutions is introduction of new varieties and technologies into production. Oil flax is an attractive crop for Russian agrarians, but not widely spread. A negative tendency of this crop sowing areas location is noted in the Southern federal region of the Russian Federation. Starting from 2012, sowing areas under the crop was reducing from 288.41 to 174.8 thousand ha. To increase areas is necessary to develop and improve cultivation technologies basing on the analysis of economic component.
