The characteristic of modern service facilities is given in the article. The role of the Russian service enterprises different organization type is shown along with the presence of the foreign players on the service market. The ways of the innovative development and expansion of the Russian service facilities of fuel and gas complex are marked with the goal of improvement of its functioning and competitiveness on the world markets.
