The aim of the study was to study the effect of the selected operation on spleen injury in children on changes in the indices of the vascular-platelet link of the hemostasis system in the long-term postoperative period. Materials and methods. A study was made of the aggregation activity of platelets and their carbohydrate composition in 56 children who underwent operations on the spleen in connection with its damage within a period of not less than 1 year. Aggregation of platelets was carried out using a laser analyzer aggregation "Biola 230". Inductors of aggregation of washed-out platelets were vegetable lectins: concanavalin A (CoA), wheat germ lectin (WGA) and phytohemagglutinin R-PHA-P. Results. It was found that splenectomy leads to an increase in aggregation properties of platelets in the long-term postoperative period due to glycoprotein receptors of b-D-galactose, N-acetyl-D-glucosamine and N-acetyl-neuraminic (sialic) acid. And a greater value is given to glycoprotein receptors containing b-D-galactose. The use of autolyentransplantation partially prevents changes in aggregation activity of platelets in the long-term postoperative period. After autolyentransplantation, the platelet aggregation activity is increased due to manoso-containing areas. Changes in aggregation activity of platelets after splenectomy lead to the development of complications in 42.8% of observations.
