Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Iraq in the context of the global energy agenda: political analysis

The article identifies global trends in the development of the energy sector that affect modern interstate cooperation between Russia and Iraq. Through political analysis, the article interprets the dominant factors that either facilitate or hinder the implementation of mutually beneficial energy projects between the two countries. It also assesses the risks and threats to cooperation at the institutional and non-institutional levels caused by the sanction policies of unfriendly states.
