“Top secret”: events in Azerbaijan (1920s-1930s). Documents on the history of the republic (part 2. 1927-1930)

The proposed publication of a selection of documents and materials traces the evolution of the development of social processes in one of the named regions of the country - the Caucasus - the Azerbaijan SSR - in relation to 1927-1930, which became one of the components of the multinational Soviet Union. The published block presents a complex of materials and documents that for a long time were not available to both the scientific world and readers who are interested in this side of the life of society, in the history of the formation of the state, in particular, the Azerbaijan SSR, in solving problems related to with the formation of statehood, its development taking into account the existing specifics. Study methods. The documents are presented on the basis of strict adherence to the chronological principle (by year), which allows one to expand knowledge of issues of a different nature, in particular, such as transformations in the Soviet country, in which the main force was the working class and the peasantry employed in the agrarian sector of the republic; dissemination of forms and methods of strengthening relations between workers and peasants in the course of strengthening relations between the peoples of Azerbaijan; identifying the role and place of numerous different kinds of political parties, among which the Bolshevik Party acquired priority importance. The method of system analysis, like the method of constellation, makes it possible to recreate through documents the various processes that took place during this extremely difficult period of the formation and development of statehood on the territory of Azerbaijan.
