Improvement of excise taxation in Russia

Excises are the most important line of income in the state budget and an effective way to influence the price of certain types of goods. Legislative change in the taxation mechanism by changing the tax rates of excises, forms and methods of its administration, introducing changes in budget legislation in the part of the execution of excise income as financial sources for providing comprehensive targeted programs that help reduce the negative consequences of using excisable goods.
