Improving business processes in implementation of laboratory information system (LIS)

The article discusses issues of improving the effectiveness of implementation, interaction between implementation specialists and the staff of a medical organization, methods for evaluating the effectiveness of the implementation of LIS. The problems of inconsistency of the processes embedded in the LIS with the existing processes in the medical organization, dissatisfaction of the staff of the new LIS, sabotage by the staff of the medical organization are considered. As a result of the study, recommendations were developed to improve the business processes of implementing LIS. Among the main recommendations: improving staff training processes, enabling implementation specialists to directly report on opposition from technical personnel.
