Improving the activities of law enforcement agencies of the CIS member states in combating cyberterrorism in the context of information globalization

The author considers the danger of cybercrime, draws a distinction between the concepts “cyberterrorism” and “cybercrime”, highlights the need on international cooperation in the area of the fight against cyberterrorism, analyses regulatory acts of the Russian Federation and UN reports. According to the author’s opinion, the fight against cybercrimes should be conducted not only on interdepartmental but on the international level primarily within CIS, involving foreign law enforcement agencies in international cooperation.
