Improvement of pharmacotherapy of reproductive function of cows with endometritis

The purpose of this work was to develop and study the effectiveness of Hexamete with the addition of potassium sarbate and sodium benzoate in non-specific endometritis in cows during lactation. In the course of research, the primary predisposing causes causing the incidence of endometritis in cows were identified. In order to prevent certain deficiencies, we have developed a combined use of florfenicol and cefkinom with hellebore alkaloids and auxiliary substances. The synergism of the components included in the preparation is observed. It is expressed in the expansion of the antimicrobial spectrum of action, an additional fungistatic effect, as well as reflexively enhancing uterine contraction and secretion of the glands of the mucous membrane. All in total ensures the achievement of the required technical result. When administered intrauterine, medication is slowly absorbed into the blood, maintaining high concentrations in the tissues of the genital organs.
