Improving the physical training of police officers for the use of violent measures base on modeling typical situations of operational and service activities

The analysis of the practice of using violent measures by employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation presented in the article established an insufficient level of their psychological and tactical readiness for the effective and legitimate use of physical force, including combat techniques, special means and firearms. In order to improve the level of professional readiness of employees, it was proposed, in the process of their physical training, to ensure the modeling of typical operational and service situations identified as a result of the study, related to the forceful suppression of illegal actions and the detention of persons who exert passive and active disobedience or resistance to the performance of police duties.
