The article examines the essence of the economic activity of the organization and suggests ways to improve it. The factors determining the structure of the economic activity of the organization are revealed. The author has revealed the dependence of the efficiency of the economic activity of the organization on the information on the basis of which management decisions are made. The conclusion is made about the need to change the parameters of the internal environment of the organization to increase the efficiency of economic activity. The author offers options for improving the internal environment of the organization in the context of three directions: improving the use of labor resources, improving the use of tools, improving the quality of products.
