The article presents a study devoted to the study of the conditions for the improvement of combinatorial actions in the first grade. The purpose of the study was to determine the possibilities of forming the noted actions using the author's program "Combination 1", built on the material of search tasks of a non-educational nature. It was assumed that the lessons of the children in the school curriculum during the lesson time, combined with the lessons in the "Combination 1" program outside of school hours, should contribute to the improvement of combinatorial actions in children to a greater extent than lessons in the school curriculum alone. The control group consisted of 39 students, the experimental group - 43 students, who participated in 18 group sessions in the second half of the year (weekly, from January to May). The initial and final diagnostics of combinatorial actions were carried out with children of both indicated groups. The results of the final diagnostics showed that the children of the experimental group, who studied, as noted, according to the school curriculum and the Combination 1 program, demonstrate significantly higher results in the implementation of developed strategies when solving problems than the children of the control group, who mastered only the curriculum. As a result of the study, it was found that classes under the "Combination 1" program significantly contribute to the transition of children to the use of more advanced combination strategies in solving problems. In further studies, it is planned to determine the extent to which the "Combination 1" program contributes to the noted changes in children who have been in school for two and three years.
