Improvement of the control and assessment activity as a component of teacher's training

The article shows the necessity of improvement of the control and assessment activities of a teacher on the basis of the research materials of high school students'' personal preferences of different forms of control and assessment. The author identifies underestimation of the logical and graphical means of visualization and structuring of the learning material in the control and assessment activity of a teacher, and positive attitude of students towards them. The research results can be applied in teachers'' advanced training and teachers'' training programs.
