The improvement of mathematics education by means of information technologies in a higher education institution

In this article there is described and analyzed the means of applying the modern information technologies to improve the mathematics education in a higher education institution under the mathematics education development conception. Also there are discussed the issues of content changes, technologies, forms, methods and means of training under the conditions of education informatization, instruments of quality control for higher education institutions activity according to Federal State Education Standard of Higher Education of the third generation where the mathematics is related to the cycle of natural- scientific disciplines. The article author concludes that the mathematics education will be the basis of personnel potential in the near future, which will be providing scientific, technical, technological and social progress of the Russian society. Therefore, the mathematics training should be at least the worldwide.
