The possibilities to increase the efficiency of the supply chain based on GAP-analysis are considered. The nature of GAP-analysis is studied, the criteria for logistical system functioning are selected, relative indicators to assess the gaps in the system are developed. Threshold values of these indicators are proposed for steel pipe industry.
