Improving the regulatory framework of the Russian Federation for assessing damage to aquatic biological resources

The imperfection of the regulatory and legal framework of the Russian Federation on the assessment of damage to aquatic biological resources is one of the reasons for their depletion. The article provides a map of the main places of aquatic bioresources extraction, studies the dynamics of aquatic bioresources extraction in the period from 2017 to 2021, analyzes changes in the Methodology for determining the consequences of negative impact on the state of aquatic biological resources and their habitat.
