Improvement of control support in the municipal authorities

The article deals with the problems of improving the activities of municipal authorities. It is shown that during the reformation of the system of local self-government in our country the necessary conditions for effective activity of this institution were not created, which was generally formed and stabilized, but its quality is very far from ideal, the level of self-organization and self-management is low. The formation of an effective system of local self-government depends not only on the solution of state tasks, but also on the corresponding municipal control.
