Improvement of organizational and managerial innovations in the construction sector

The article aims to study the processes of improving organizational and managerial innovations in connection due to their increasing role in the modern economy as an effective tool for ensuring the sustainability of construction organizations’ activities and an adequate response to the rising demands of consumers of construction products. The role and importance of organizational and managerial innovations in the construction field are of significant interest for their study. The author highlights the shortcomings in theoretical studies, in the terminological apparatus, as well as the existing uncertainty in approaches to the formulations of organizational and managerial innovations. The article studies the nature and structure of organizational and managerial innovations in the construction industry which reflect new opportunities for the effective use of innovative technologies and the organization of innovative business processes in construction. The article presents the main types of organizational and managerial innovations in the construction industry and provides their main features. It is revealed that organizational and managerial innovations are an alternative to the existing structure of construction management, and their main task is determined by the creation and maintenance of an integrated system of innovative processes of enterprises and organizations. The article argues that technological, organizational and managerial types of innovations are complementary, and their overall implementation reflects a consolidated impact on improving the company>s economic performance. The author reveals the main methods for improving organizational and construction innovations in the construction industry and ways of their further development.
