Improvement of the procedure of granting land plots to the ownership of citizens of the Russian Federation (Far Eastern hectare)

The article deals with the current legal and regulatory framework applied for land regulation in the Russian Federation, the key issues concerning the implementation of the Federal Law of May 1, 2016, No. 119 FL (an Arctic Hectare Program) are analyzed. The given legal act performs the function of a certain leverage, regulating relations of the land usage of plots that are not used and provides the citizens of Russia with the legal grounds for obtaining large land plots for their personal use. The implementation of the legal act is complicated with a number of legal uncertainties. The scientific novelty of the research is clarifying and systematizing of the basic legal framework of land plots that can be provided for citizens in accordance with the Federal Law of May 1, 2016, No. 119 FL and defining legislative drawbacks needed to be changed.
