Improvement of the training process of future welders based on a competence approach

The article reveals the relevance of improving the process of training qualified specialists in connection with the reform of vocational education, which is currently being carried out in the Republic of Uzbekistan. As a condition for improving the professional training of welding specialists, it is proposed to implement a competency-based approach in training. The article provides various definitions of the competence-based approach. The essence of Vocational and technological readiness, Key competences is revealed. The objects of professional activity of a welding technician are described. It is concluded that it is necessary to revise the content and technology of training welders in accordance with the competence-based approach.
