Improving the system of state regulation of agriculture in the region

The present study is devoted to the necessity and mechanisms of improving state regulation of agriculture in the region. Based on the analysis of the current state and dynamics of the development of agriculture at the regional level, a conceptual model of the development of the system of state regulation of agriculture is proposed, consisting of nine interrelated stages that allow implementing a set of measures to achieve a rational level of state influence on the agricultural sector of the economy with a view to its effective development. Scientific and economic justification and approbation were carried out on the example of the Republic of Mordovia. All methods of state regulation are classified into legal, organizational and economic. As part of the improvement of existing mechanisms, it is proposed to amend the "State Program of the Republic of Mordovia for the development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural products, raw materials and food markets for 2013-2025".
