Improvement of the fodder base quality management system for the dairy animal industry in the conditions of digital economy in agro-industrial complex

As part of the implementation of the digital economy program in Russia, the need to improve the quality management system of the feed base for the livestock industry arose. A decrease in the quality characteristics of feed leads to a decrease in milk production and replacement of domestic raw materials with imported dairy products (dry milk) of lower quality and underloading of production capacities of processing enterprises. The ongoing processes and trends require an analysis of various factors affecting the improvement of the quality management system in the dairy industry in the digital economy in the agricultural sector. Improving the quality management system is possible through the development of an integrated mechanism that includes a number of traditional methods, methods based on the introduction of new technologies in the agricultural production processes, including feed production. Feed production is the most multifunctional and large-scale sector of agriculture. It connects the main branches of agriculture - crop production and animal husbandry into a single interconnected system. Sustainability of the development of the dairy industry and food security of the country will largely depend on the level of digitalization in feed production. However, there is a whole complex of unsolved problems: insufficient level of development of the quality management system of fodder based on the elements of digitalization; low rates of modernization and renewal of basic production funds; the financial instability of agricultural producers; unsatisfactory level of market infrastructure (which devalues the efforts of producers); lack of qualified personnel; low rates of reproduction of natural ecological potential; limited information support of agroindustrial complex. The study showed that the introduction of digital technology into the production of feed for the dairy industry reduces the risk of inefficient investments.
