The effectiveness of the functioning of the state apparatus directly depends on the quality of work and responsibility of civil servants, who are the key executors of state policies and decisions. That is why the issues of motivation and stimulation in the civil service are becoming particularly relevant. This article is devoted to the analysis of the current situation in the field of motivation of civil servants, their main incentives to work and problems arising in the implementation of existing incentive methods.
