The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the boundary between people and technology continues to blur as new technologies come into the workplace that not only automate and supplement the work done by people, but actually increase the efficiency of the individual and the team as a whole. The article analyzes the competency-based approach. Also, the article analyzes combinations of traditional and technological training methods, which in turn can have a strategic impact on critical business processes of the organization. Approaches to the management and professional development of the entire workforce are considered, as well as the risks associated with the digitalization of corporate training.
