Improving the content and forms of advanced training of teaching staff on the ethnocultural education issue

The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. The relevance of the research is determined by the general goal - the formation of a national sovereign education system, a unified system of education, unified approaches to the advanced training of teachers and methodologists. Nowadays there is an urgent need to unite the issues of education and upbringing of a harmonious personality, a patriot, a person who respects his/her small and big Motherland, knows his/her history and culture, who has formed traditional values of the peoples of Russia, among which the most important are patriotism, citizenship, service to the Fatherland, as well as high moral ideals, the priority of spiritual over material. The unity of the peoples of Russia is recognized by the State and society as a development priority. Changes in the education system are currently aimed at ensuring the worldview status of education as a key condition for personal development, at the formation of national identity of schoolchildren - a sense of belonging to a certain ethnicity or nation, which requires an increase in the effectiveness of pedagogical work on ethnocultural education, mastering by teachers of general education organizations of psychological, pedagogical, cultural, historical, linguistic and literary knowledge necessary for the development of ethnocultural education of schoolchildren, as well as the development of a national identity of students We consider ethnocultural education of schoolchildren to be one of the main directions in ensuring the sovereignty of Russian education. The goal of the research is to consider ways to improve the content and forms of advanced training of pedagogical workers, conscious choice of the model of advanced training on the problem of ethnocultural education, to analyze the experience of modeling of advanced training of teachers in the regional system of education. The article also analyzes the role of institutes of additional professional education (on the example of the Chelyabinsk Institute of Education Development) in the training of teaching staff to implement ethnocultural education. The results of the research are related to the development, theoretical justification and approbation of the system and pedagogical tools for the implementation of ethnocultural education with the participation of specialists of the institute of advanced training. Scientific novelty consists in determining the basis for the development of the system of teacher training for the implementation of ethnocultural education in general education schools, the content and forms of advanced training of teachers in terms of their preparation for teaching subjects with the inclusion of ethnocultural component. Theoretical significance consists in the development of ideas about the advanced training of teaching staff on the basis of scientifically substantiated, expedient application of effective forms of additional professional education. The results of the research have practical significance and can be used in the design and implementation of course training in the conditions of the Institute of Education Development.
