Rapid development of female urology is determined by the spread of such diseases as urine incontinence (UI), recurrent cystitis, dysfunctional urination, neurogenic bladder dysfunction and chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS). The complexity of curing these diseases lies in the fact that they are often combined with inflammatory changes, cause them and sometimes are the result of them or the result of a negative consequence of inflammation treatment. First-line therapy consists of behavioral therapy, bladder and pelvic floor muscles training, biofeedback and pharmacotherapy. Second-line therapy comprises minimally invasive surgery, sling urethropexy, etc. Antiinflammatory and antimicrobial therapy is often regarded as a starting point of treatment. Such symptoms as discomfort, dryness, itch, bad odour and secretions cause great trouble and significantly reduce the quality of life, thus requiring the application of feminine hygiene kits. For such kinds of patients, it is necessary to select an effective and convenient remedy for rehabilitation, which can provide good quality of live if used. Innovative sanitary pads “Carin/Oasis ProBiotic”, which consist of stabilized probiotic cultures, fully comply with modern hygienic standards. Their application leads to stabilization of vaginal microflora as a result of the activity of probiotic bacteria. Studies conducted in Scientific Research Institute of Urology (Moscow) on women with CPPS, UI and recurrent cystitis have demonstrated the ability of sanitary pads “Carin ProBiotic” to reduce the number of cases of recurrent vaginal infections, relieve the discomfort and pain, neutralize bad odour, provide emotional comfort and improve patients’ psycho-emotional state.
