Improvement of judicial activity on crimes in the economic activity sphere is one of the basic conditions of effective security and protection of civil rights and freedoms

The article discusses topical issues of improving judicial activity in cases over crimes in the economic activity sphere. The improvement and modernization of judicial activity in cases over crimes in the economic activity sphere contributes to the all-round effective provision and protection of civil rights and freedoms. An important means of improving judicial activities on effective protection of civil rights and freedoms, including participants in proceedings in cases over crimes in the sphere of economic activity, is panel hearing of cases of this category. An effective and significant means of improving judicial activity in cases over crimes in the sphere of economic activity is the specialization of judges to review the mentioned category of criminal cases. In this connection, it becomes necessary and expedient to invite representatives of RF Presidential Commissioner for the Rights of Business People to court hearings of the criminal cases analyzed by the authors. The improvement of the Criminal Procedure Law and modernization of judicial activity in cases over crimes in the sphere of economic activity is one of the main conditions of effective security and protection of civil rights and freedoms.
