Improving the legislation on drug profits laundering

The article is devoted to the concept of money laundering from drug trafficking. The author considers the elements of the crime of legalization stipulated in Articles 174 and 174.1 of the Criminal Сode of the Russian Federation, and also suggests legislative changes to these Articles. The article presents a new author’s version of the disposition of the simple composition of the legalization (laundering) of criminal proceeds.
