The article reveals the structure of a health-saving competency of teachers in a preschool educational institution and characterizes the components of the competency. In addition, the article proposes the system of managerial assistance to teachers in preschool educational institutions to improve the health-saving competency. It also describes the main directions of the managerial assistance.
