Improvement of housing and communal sphere due to digitalization of power supply services

The sphere of housing and communal services is most realistically connected with various problems of energy saving, including those arising due to the supply of resources that influence the prices of services paid by end users. The article traces the interrelation of the characteristics of the housing and communal services industry, influencing the formation of existing problems, for the solution of which, innovative actions are needed related to the digitization of energy supply processes. At the level of the housing complex management, the question of finding ways to reduce the cost ofpayments for services, pay off debts and increase control over the quantity and quality of consumed services in the field of energy supply is considered to be implemented an intelligent electricity metering system, approved by the Federal Law Amendment No. 522 of 2018. This document resolved the issue of the transfer of duties of installation, payment, control over the implementation of smart meters in apartment buildings from consumers to energy suppliers. The article analyzes the advantages of an intelligent electricity metering system.
