The Soviet post-war research methodology of agrarian manpower market in the late XIX and the beginning of the XX centuries

The article deals with the development of post-war research of agrarian manpower market of Russia in the late XIX and the beginning of the XX centuries. It is concluded that Soviet scientists have made a significant contribution to the understanding of the functioning of market mechanisms in the sphere of employment relationships of the Russian countryside. They studied the processes of social-economic decay of the peasantry, the folding of capitalist employment in the countryside; they con- ducted serious regional research on this issue, in details. This one allowed us to reach high-level generalizations and to draw important conclusions, still keeping within bounds of the social paradigm, about the fate of capitalism, which were a sensitive polemical nature in the Russian countryside.
