Soviet law was formed as a result of the victory of the October Revolution in Russia. It was a socialist right, fundamentally different from the bourgeois right of tsarist Russia. According to Russian scientists, due to its novelty, it excluded any continuity with it. However, practically in the texts of Soviet regulations. Many provisions of the law of tsarist Russia were reflected in Soviet law. Such heredity was not a mistake, but was of an objective nature and was determined by the peculiarities of Russian statehood, characteristic of Russia at all stages of its functioning.
