Joint venture as an effective business form of post-pandemic period

The paper discusses development pattern of joint ventures. The relevance of the study stems from the need to find effective forms of doing business in the wake of the changes brought about by the global pandemic. The methodology is based on the implementation of the following methods: comprehensive, statistical, comparative, retrospective and content analysis. Recent developments in the formation of joint ventures in times of crisis are presented in this paper. Examines the current situation of joint ventures involving foreign participation in Russia. Key problems that hinder the active use of this form of entrepreneurship nationwide are highlighted, including: unequal rights of market agents, barriers to market entry for new companies, distortive influence of state and monopoly sectors, excessive and inefficient regulation, insufficient restructuring of old companies receiving various forms of state support, and corruption. The positive and negative aspects of joint ventures were systematized. Based on the results, it was concluded that key advantages of this business structure allow joint entrepreneurship to act as an effective form of doing business in the framework of foreign economic activity in the post-pandemic period.
