The relevance of the presented study lies in the growing political and economic role of China and India in the Asia-Pacific region. Sino-Indian relations appear to be a barometer of stability and safety not only in the regional context, buttressed by the global context. The aim of this study focuses on the contractual legal framework for Sino-Indian cooperation at the modern juncture of their relations. In the midst of the documents, it was concluded that the states' bilateral relations have developed steadily in recent years, as evidenced by the diverse as well as multilayered legal and regulatory framework for Sino-Indian cooperation that evolved. Through active interaction, contacts were established at different levels of government, business, science and education. Despite unresolved territorial issues and the pandemic, Sino-Indian relations continue to evolve and are fleshed out in concrete terms. The stability of cooperation between Sino-Indian states is mutually beneficial for their own national interests. Despite the active intervention of third actors both in bilateral relations and their claims to leadership in the Indo-Pacific space and in the region as a whole, the governments of China and India are building their own trajectories of cooperation, finding common points of mutually beneficial relations, and creating a solid regulatory framework. The results presented in the study may be of interest to specialists and experts dealing with international relations in Asia and international law.
