Modern practice of mining development tourist route in Jungar Alatau

Political instability in Kyrgyzstan compelled the authorities of Kazakhstan to open the border with the neighboring state in 2008 for free movement of tourists across Northern Tien Shan. For this reason, there was an actual task for developing the mountain tourist routes in the Dzungarian Ala Tau. It is the mountain area attractive to tourists which is located in 280 km to the north of Almaty where the author has been carrying out sports and research expeditions since 1986.
