The article examines the phenomenon of modern Russian religious fashion through the prism of two dynamic processes - secularity and counter-secularity - on the example of two confessions - Orthodoxy and Islam. The article describes the clothing of ordinary believers and the vestments of the clergy, as well as examples from other religions concerning religious fashion. The study shows the ways in which secularization and its reverse process - counter-secularization - take place through fashion. A multidimensional definition of religious fashion is given as the process of introducing society through fashion to religion and ordinary believers to secular life. It is concluded that the fashion of ordinary believers in both Orthodoxy and Islam has more common features than differences. This can contribute to the harmonization of interethnic relations and the prevention of conflicts on religious grounds in our country.
