Modern decorative arts and stagecraft of the Amur and Sakhalin indigenous peoples as components of ethnocultural identity

Decorative arts and stagecraft constitute an important part of ethnocultural identity. Considering these phenomena as complex texts containing specific ethnic and universal cultural meanings, the author traces, using the example of modern decorative arts and stagecraft of the indigenous peoples of Amur and Sakhalin, how today, in the context of the growing role of cyberspace, ethnic culture transforms and ethnic identity is constructed.
