The remote services market is actively developing and interact closely with the IT, financial technology and startup market. In addition, the remote banking system is part of any modern bank and allows modern people to save money and time. Improving remote banking services is a catalyst for the development of the banking sector. In this article the authors describe effective remote banking services, characterizing current trends in the development of the banking sector and reflecting the modern stage of technological development of society. The development of the Internet space, software products, information and financial technologies contribute to the growth of penetration of remote forms of interaction with legal entities and individuals, changing the landscape of banking activities. The authors reviewed the characteristics of remote banking services presented in the scientific community. Reviewed the position of the Bank of Russia in establishing terminological concepts of remote banking services. Based on analytical materials, given an assessment of the segment of remote banking operations in Russia, provided statistics on the spread of remote forms of service and interaction between clients and banks. The structure of banking operations is analyzed, described the advantages of using modern forms of banking services and further development trends. The issue of the banking sector’s response to geopolitical challenges is touched upon, the experience of the Sber ecosystem is reviewed and identified the key areas for improving remote banking services.
