The modern state: the last leviathan, a phantom or the messiah?

It is time to dig a little deeper one of the «eternal themes» and try to link our previous understanding of the state to the current realities. The current situation is smashing idols and shedding them of pedestals. The world is trying to find a path of transition to a new quality. Will there be a place for state in its former meaning and form? If so, what form will it have, and what will dramatically change? If not, then what will come instead?
